Job Requirements:
- Have 5 years working experience in in the same position / similar assignment
- Have experience in selection and evaluation of electronic components as a component engineer or design engineer.
- Understanding of the electronics supply industry and a working knowledge of design and manufacturing documentation and quality systems.
- Graduate S1 in Electronics Engineering or related discipline
- Familiarity with ISO 9000 procedures will be advantage
- Excellent communication skills both in Bahasa Indonesia & English
- Proficiency in English (writing and speaking)
- Report to: Product Sustaining Manager
Job Description and Responsibilities:
- Supporting Development teams in the sourcing and selection of electronic components and subassemblies.
- Ensuring selected components and subassemblies meet or exceed Itron quality and reliability standards.
- Identifying replacement and/or alternate components and communicating recommendations to the design team.
- Managing the master component database including the approval of all parts.
- Working directly with component manufacturers to determine root cause and corrective actions as a result of failure analysis investigations.
- Provide mentoring to other component engineers.
